Riftbound Collection Manager

Tracks all 1,214 Riftbound printings with foil and non-foil copies counted separately, so set completion is accurate. It also matches trades against any public collection, and sorts the current meta into decks I can build, decks I'm close to, and decks to aim for.

  • Why I built it · To know what to actually chase or trade away, given the cards I already own
  • Role · Solo build
  • Timeline · Aug 2026 – present
  • Stack · HTMLCSSJavaScriptSupabase

One self-contained HTML file, no build step, same pattern as my reading tracker. Card catalog, tournament decklists and the ban list are each generated into committed JSON by small Node scripts, so the page ships its own data and boots without waiting on anyone. Collection counts come from my public riftbound.gg profile through a Cloudflare Worker, which exists because that API answers CORS only for its own origin; state caches in localStorage and syncs to a single Supabase row, so a card logged on a phone at a shop is there on the desktop. Hosted on GitHub Pages behind Cloudflare.

The itch

I got into Riftbound this year (I've been a League fan for over a decade, so I was sold immediately), and keeping track of it meant a weird mix of Piltover Archive, riftbound.gg and a script on my own site to move cards between them. Each one knows part of the picture: the cards, my collection, or what the meta is playing. None of them holds all three at once, so none can answer the question I actually have as a newer player: what should I get next, given what I already own?

What shipped

  • Decks I can build, decks I'm close to, decks to aim for. The current tournament meta, ranked against my binder, with exactly what each deck is missing.
  • Honest set completion. 1,214 printings tracked by finish, so a foil and a non-foil count separately.
  • Trades in both directions. A shareable trade list, plus matching against any public collection: what they have that I want, and what I have that they want.
  • Data that keeps itself fresh. The card catalog, tournament decklists, ban list, tier list and news rebuild every day, and a regression check blocks the refresh if anything looks wrong.

One decision

I don't enter cards here. riftbound.gg's scanner beats typing, so the collection is a mirror of my public profile there, pulled in through a small Cloudflare Worker. That freed the app to open on the decision (what to chase, what to trade away) instead of on yet another card grid.
